Fruit Loops

Seasonal fruits are pleasantly welcome as offering for various gods and many occasions, at temples and in homes. Sharing the harvest is a sign of humility, fairness, and thanksgiving. If you bring fresh fruits as gifts to your host, make sure that they are minimally enough for such display, which is four for stacking one on top of three in a pyramidal order. Round fruits are preferred over oblong ones like bananas not only for practical stacking purposes, but for their roundness and completion. The term “roundness” in Chinese also contains a pun of the term “wish fulfillment.”
