Celebrating Confucius Birthday

September 28th is Confucius’ Birthday, also known as National Teachers’ Day in many countries in East Asia. Confucius lived over 2500 years ago and his philosophy has guided people for peaceful living in 8 countries in East Asia including China, Japan, Korea, and Singapore. His teachings have taught people to reduce conflict and tension, cultivate the inner spirit, and improve one’s relationship within the family and society in general.
